Airport
Please note that Miami International is the nearest international airport. Key Largo is approximately a one hour drive.

Accommodations
Accommodations for the conference are at the Baker's Cay. The hotel is located in Key Largo. Please consider a rental car/taxi from the airport to the conference venue. Please see link Getting to Resort

Arrival and Check-in
It is expected that attendees will arrive/check-in after 4:00 PM. Anyone arriving after 7:30 pm on the first day should make alternative dinner arrangements.

Conference Venue
The Conference room is located at the hotel.

Handicapped Accessibility
The site is fully handicapped accessible.

Oral Presentations
Speakers need to submit their presentation by June 3rd at 5pm eastern to the Presentation Pool.

Optional Field Trip Day
Buses for the field trips will depart from the hotel front lobby. More information on time to be at Lobby will be added closer to the conference. See Networking Day/Field Trip.

Lunches/Informal Discussions
Lunches for registered participants and registered accompanying persons will be served during the times indicated in this program and only after the session has finished. Badges are required for admission.

Dinners/Informal Discussions
A welcome dinner on June 5th and a farewell gala on June 8th is include in registration during the times indicated in the program. Vegetarian entrees are available only upon request in advance of the meeting. Please contact Yijie Zhu to request this at yijiezhu@usf.edu. On other days, dinner is not included in the registration to allow participants a less structured time so they can organize smaller group dinners.

Internet, Phone, & Computer
Wireless Internet access is located throughout the conference center and Baker's Cay hotel room free of charge. Phone service is available for an additional charge to the hotel from your hotel room.

Passport and Visa
Participants are advised to check on their individual requirements before attending this meeting. Visa applications should be filed at the nearest American Embassy in the country in which you are resident, at least three months prior to the anticipated departure date.

Letters of Confirmation
Letters confirming your invitation to attend this meeting will be issued upon request only to: Authors of accepted abstracts who are fully paid registrants
Note: Confirmation letters are issued at the conference organizers' discretion, and requests for letters will be accepted only 60 days prior to the conference start date. A request should be submitted to yijiezhu@usf.edu

Liability and Insurance
Neither the organizers, nor the American Association of Geographers will assume any responsibility whatsoever for damage or injury to persons or property during meeting period. Participants are advised to arrange their own personal travel and health insurance.

No Photographs and Recording Devices
Participants are not allowed to photograph and/or record using cameras, mobile telephones and other recording devices during any conference presentation.

Other Information
Badges are required for admission to all events.
All conference events are non-smoking.
